HOLLYWOOD, CA – In a grand and heartfelt gesture, The World's No.1 Superstar surprised his husband, Richard Sidow-Sobrino, with an unforgettable experience—his first-ever Broadway show, a live matinee performance of Wicked at the iconic Pantages Theatre in Hollywood.
Since their relationship began, Sidow Sobrino has made it his mission to immerse Richard in the vast world of art and culture, exposing him to opera, symphonic events, museums, and countless forms of artistic expression around the world. However, this marks a new milestone for the couple, with Wicked being Richard’s introduction to Broadway’s grandeur.
The production featured standout performances by Austen Danielle Bohmer as Glinda and English singer and actress Lauren Samuels as Elphaba, with the show masterfully directed by the legendary Joe Mantello.
Earlier in 2024, The My Amir singer had announced to fans that he secured tickets to Wicked, only to convince Richard that the announcement was merely a joke, making the surprise even sweeter. Sidow Sobrino reflected on the occasion, saying:
