The World’s No.1 Superstar® Sidow Sobrino Expands His Entertainment Empire With “Under Your Spell”

NEW YORK, LOS ANGELES, LONDON, and TOKYO

In an entertainment economy crowded with new releases, recognition increasingly depends on more than the song. For Sidow Sobrino, differentiation comes through control of the entire presentation.

“Under Your Spell,” launched on August 11, 2026, places The World’s No.1 Superstar® at the center of another self-contained chapter from Seminal. This time, Sobrino embodies The Supreme Sorcerer, an imposing figure whose authority, image and mythology turn the music video into an extension of the artist behind it.

The premise is deliberately ambitious. Set in Miami Beach, Florida, and filmed on location in Laguna Beach, California, the story follows a ruler searching for an heir. A dark séance summons forces from above and below as prospective beauties enter the Sorcerer’s domain, each hoping to captivate its sovereign and carry the child who will inherit his throne.

Richard, Sobrino’s husband, appears as Balthazar, the Royal Butler. More confidant than attendant, the character assists his master throughout the selection. Richard also contributes background vocals to the recording, linking the onscreen partnership to the track itself.

“The Supreme Sorcerer rules all. Everyone entering his aura wants something, but gaining his attention and being worthy of his empire are two very different things. He embodies a presence felt before a single word is spoken.”

Musically, “Under Your Spell” operates in high-energy Electronic and Dance-Pop, driven by hypnotic production and an insistent pulse. Its visual counterpart takes a more elaborate approach, using supernatural symbolism, performance and theatrical imagery to give the recording an immediately identifiable context.

That distinction matters. As streaming continues to place enormous catalogs within immediate reach, artists compete not only for listeners but for recognition. Sobrino’s approach to Seminal has been to give individual songs distinct cinematic identities, creating multiple points through which audiences can encounter the larger project.

“Knowing I was playing Balthazar was exciting because it let me step into a new, sinister, villainous role,” said Richard, the star's husband. “Filming those beach scenes in front of a crowd reminded me how blessed I am to be an actor.”

The new release follows “Dangerous Joy,” Sobrino’s LGBTQ+ anthem whose music video received multiple Honorable Mentions at film festivals in India. Such recognition gives the Seminal era an international dimension extending beyond conventional music distribution and into the festival circuit.

For Sobrino, “Under Your Spell” illustrates a broader principle of creator-led entertainment: a distinctive identity can become an asset when it remains recognizable while continuing to evolve.

The Supreme Sorcerer may be searching for an heir. The artist portraying him is doing something different - building continuity.
